Rock to this Soundtrack!
I recently saw this great teen movie all about music and what do you know-- the music is fantastic! The artist and songs featured on Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Soundtrack are definitely not main-stream, but the music and lyrics are strong and you'll find yourself rocking out in no time. Artists and groups include the Dead 60s, Army Navy, The Submarines, Devendra Banhart, and Vampire Weekend.

A Romance for the Ages
The year is 1291 and Finulla Crass, the adventurous daughter of the local miller, is determined to help her older sister, Mellana secure a substantial dowry for marriage. Enter Sir Hugo Fitzstephan, a handsome knight who is returning home from the Crusades with a large fortune... large enough, say, to kidnap and hold him ransom for the money Mellana needs?
Ransom My Heart is a delightful historical romance written by Princess Diaries series heroine Princess Mia Thermopolis (with help from Meg Cabot, who is donating all proceeds to Greenpeace). There are no princesses in this sophisticated historical romance, but you'll enjoy the humor, two believable and likable protagonists, and plenty of action of all kinds.

Attention Girls! Here's a math book for you!
Cute and smart is better than cute and dumb. That's the message that Danica McKellar is sending in her book Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail. The book is full of stories and real-life scenarios to learn math-- no more boring story problems or impossible equations. My favorite part of the book is its illustrations and girlie-handwriting. Think Teen Cosmo or Seventeen for the math student. You'll love it!
