The artist and songs featured on Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Soundtrack are definitely not main-stream, but the music and lyrics are strong and you'll find yourself rocking out in no time. The second story introduces us to Jin Wang, an American born Chinese teenager who struggles with his identity: he is Chinese, but he is also American, and the two don't always blend together easily. The two stories come together to share a valuable lesson with the reader. Don't let the cartoons fool you, this books deals with serious issues, like racism and ethnic stereotypes. Along with Jin and Monkey you will learn that being yourself is not always easy, but it is always worth it.
